NEW YORK—The Morris + King Company has been retained by amfAR, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the support of AIDS research, HIV prevention and treatment education. MKC will develop and execute a comprehensive public relations campaign to create widespread awareness of the organization’s research achievements as it reaches an important moment in its history, with particular emphasis on the strides amfAR continues to make toward finding a cure.
This campaign will tap the strengths of MKC in the healthcare, medical research, life sciences and public policy sectors.
For the past 25 years, amfAR, founded in 1985, has been dedicated to ending the global AIDS epidemic through innovative research and has invested more than $307 million in its mission and awarded grants to more than 2,000 research teams worldwide. amfAR-funded research has increased understanding of HIV and has helped lay the groundwork for major advances in the study and treatment of HIV/AIDS.
