AUSTIN—Porter Novelli has added Motive, an Austin-based, leading provider of service infrastructure software, to its technology client list.  The account was awarded to Porter Novelli based in part on the agency’s successful relationship with BroadJump, which was acquired by Motive in 2002.

Porter Novelli will handle communications planning, as well as media and analyst relations for the company, one of the largest privately held software providers in Texas. The account will be led out of the firm’s Austin office.

“Motive is poised to become one of the industry’s most successful software companies.  We recognize the increased importance of aligning with partners that can offer strategic impact at every step in the growth process,” said Claire Campbell-Seeger, director of public relations for Motive.  “Porter Novelli’s depth of experience and industry insight, coupled with its proven track record, made it the obvious choice for Motive.”
