ATLANTA, June 22—The Atlanta office of Manning Selvage & Lee has beaten out Fleishman-Hillard, GCI Group and local firm The Headline Group to earn a $5 million contract from the Georgia Department of Industry Trade & Tourism. Working alongside Georgia-based advertising and interactive agencies, MS&L will provide public relations counsel to the state’s economic development, tourism, international trade and film industry divisions.
The account was previously held by Hill & Knowlton, which did not participate the review process. MS&L will work with Match advertising and AntFarm Interactive—bringing together a team that worked together on Yamacraw, a public–private, economic development initiative designed to grow the broadband technology industry in the state.
