MWW Opens San Francisco Office, Hires Two

MWW Group has opened its eighth full-service office in San Francisco. The office will specialize in technology, corporate and executive communications and brand positioning.

SAN FRANCISCO—MWW Group has opened its eighth full-service office in San Francisco. The office will specialize in technology, corporate and executive communications and brand positioning, including business-to-business, financial relations, consumer marketing and crisis communications management.  The company also announced the appointment of Monica Sarkar and Larry Yu as vice presidents.

Sarkar, who previously held senior communications positions at Hewlett-Packard Company and Compaq Computer, will manage the office. Yu joins from Cisco Systems, and brings more than a decade of technology and consumer marketing experience.

“This is an exciting time for MWW as we continue to grow our nationwide presence and extend our reach to yet another major West Coast city,” says Michael Kempner, MWW president and CEO. “Together, Monica and Larry bring extraordinary experience managing all aspects of corporate and executive communications for some of the most respected technology brands and executives in the world.”

Prior to joining MWW, Sarkar was director of corporate media relations at Hewlett-Packard. Before joining MWW, Yu was manager of, executive communications at Cisco Systems.
