EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ—MWW Group has been retained by Formula Drift, the first professional drifting championship in the western hemisphere. Drifting is a new motor sport that calls for drivers to control a car while it slides sideways at a high speed through a marked course. It is judged on execution and style, similar to skateboarding and freestyle motocross.

MWW Group will lead a national media relations campaign to build Formula Drift’s brand recognition and increase visibility of the growing sport of drifting, as well as develop event promotion initiatives for seven drifting events nationwide. The firm will also promote each event with national and local media outreach while capitalizing on the sport’s culture, drivers and personalities, and race day activities, as well as capitalizing on the upcoming motion picture Fast and The Furious 3: Tokyo Drift, which focuses on drifting.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—MWW Group has added The American Chamber of Commerce in Peru to the client roster of its Washington, D.C. office. MWW is charged with lobbying Congress for enactment of the US-Peru Trade Promotion Agreement and will develop a grassroots strategy and mobilize support on the Hill and around the country for the US PTPA.
