MIAMI—Royal Caribbean Cruises has named Michele Nadeem vice president, global corporate communications. Nadeem is responsible for leading Royal Caribbean's global communication strategies and community relations efforts throughout all of its brands, and reports directly to the company's chairman and CEO, Richard Fain.
Nadeem has experience in the fields of transportation and logistics, technology and healthcare in disciplines including crisis and issues management, internal and external communications, reputation management, analyst relations, corporate sponsorships, social responsibility, and community relations.
Most recently, Nadeem was the vice president of corporate communications, public affairs, corporate social responsibility, media and industry analyst relations for DHL Express US (a unit of DPWN/Deutsche Post) and a member of the parent company's global corporate communications council.
Prior to her role at DHL, Nadeem founded multinational PR agency Media Boston International, and served as the president and CEO, working with clients such as the U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Army, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Teradyne, IDC, Samsung and Siemens. Earlier, she worked in corporate communications at Siemens.
