NEWARK, CA—Albrycht McClure & Partners has launched AMP Communications, a new division that will focus on providing clients with “exciting, innovative, expert public relations and marketing communications services” that will “turn up the volume” on their communications efforts. It will be led by Elizabeth Albrycht, co-founder and partner.

Albrycht McClure & Partners will continue to operate as the corporate umbrella brand, focusing on its role as a strategic communications and consulting firm, working with non-profit organizations, academia, those in the political arena and business and technology leaders, with expertise in mass communications, marketing, science and technology studies.

AMP, meanwhile, will provide public relations and marketing tools and services, complementing the counsel of Albrycht McClure’s consultants, and will serve clients in a variety of industries across the non-profit, public and private sectors.

Says Albrycht, “The nature of public relations and marketing communications is changing. The consolidation of publications combined with the expansion of the Internet requires organizations to communicate directly with their audiences by becoming the content creators and disseminators. These changes demand new strategies and tactics that take full advantage of the power of electronic communications, while generating high quality, substantive information focused on the education of key publics. We have transformed our company to focus on helping organizations to understand and effectively use these new approaches.”

According to partner Jennifer McClure, the firm will offer traditional PR products and new tools such as e-newsletters, webinars, and web-marketing initiatives. “Meanwhile, Albrycht McClure & Partners will focus on the larger, more strategic issues surrounding our clients’ industries.”
