NEW YORK—Stanton Crenshaw Communications has been selected to handle public relations for kajeet, a new pay-as-you-go cell phone service tailored exclusively for kids and parents. With a focus on moms of the tween set, Stanton Crenshaw has developed a customized public relations program designed to convey kajeet’s unique product and service offering for kids and families.
The media relations program consists of outreach to national media, including product and consumer electronics press, lifestyle, women’s and parenting outlets as well as youth-oriented media. The campaign also centers on building a corporate brand profile, which includes outreach to industry analysts, a thought leadership effort for kajeet’s founders and building relationships for the brand with third-party experts in topics relevant to helping kids and parents make decisions about the role mobile technology plays in their lives.
The launch, which kicked off March 21st, has generated coverage on ABC affiliates nationwide, including WABC “Eyewitness News” in New York and KABC “Eyewitness News” in Los Angeles.
