NEW YORK—MS&L has named Jeanine O’Kane North America director of MS&L healthcare and promoted Scott Beaudoin to North American director of the agency’s cause marketing and corporate social responsibility specialty.
In a newly created position, O’Kane will serve as New York healthcare practice director, managing the healthcare practices in New York and Boston with a focus on regional integration. Working with agency leaders across the North American region on the healthcare business, she is charged with new product and services creation, strategy, integration, talent acquisition and unification of healthcare practices.
O’Kane will report to Jim Tsokanos, president of the Americas and Renee Wilson, managing director of the New York office. She was formerly an executive vice president and director at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, she ran the New York healthcare practice and was global account director for the firm’s Bayer business. Earlier, she was a healthcare practice senior leader at Burson Marsteller and Edelman and served as public relations manager at Berlex, the U.S. affiliate of Schering.
Beaudoin will be responsible for driving continued thought leadership and growth in the cause and CSR space across all practices and offices in the U.S. and Canada.
Beaudoin joined MS&L in July 2008 as senior vice president of consumer marketing and director of cause marketing and has since developed cause marketing and CSR programs for brand name clients in key industries, including Procter & Gamble, Pfizer and Sodexo.
In Chicago, meanwhile, MS&L has hired Joan Cetera as senior vice president, consumer home and wellness practice leader, and Jeff Bodzewski as vice president, corporate branding.
Cetera will oversee client relationships with P&G, Delta Faucets and Daisy brands. She joins MS&L from Ogilvy PR, where she was senior vice president, and also held the post of deputy consumer group director. Bodzewski will manage key corporate client relationships, including DeVry University and the Kellogg School of Management, while assisting with the expansion of the office’s corporate and word of mouth marketing practices. Prior to joining MS&L, he was an account director at Zócalo Group, a part of Ketchum, managing word of mouth marketing programs for some of the agency’s largest clients.
