NEW YORK—Bliss Gouverneur & Associates, a New York public relations firm best known for its work in professional services and—more recently—healthcare, has changed its name to BlissPR.

“We believe the new name is more descriptive of what we do, and reflects the consolidation of our operations with those of Walsh Communications, an acquisition that we made in 2003,” says Abby Gouverneur Carr, one of the firm’s managing directors. “The name change is underscored by a new logo and refreshed website that will launch in the second quarter.”

Founded in 1975, BlissPR has 30 employees at offices in New York and Chicago.

NEW YORK—KCSA Strategic Communications, the independent communications firm formerly known as KCSA Worldwide, has introduced a new identity and website, coinciding with its move to new office. The firm says its new identity and offices “accurately reflect its full-service capabilities.” which include investor relations, business-to-business and financial public relations and creative and marketing services.

According to chief executive officer Jeff Corbin: “An organization may come to us thinking they need a solution from a single communications discipline, but when our team takes an in-depth look at its objectives, we may deem a mix of communications services more appropriate.”

The new KCSA Strategic Communications mark, designed by the firm’s creative group, is a red circle—half solid and half three semi-circles lines—that represents the company’s three core service areas.
