NEW YORK—The IGB Group, an investor relations and business communications firm, has appointed Ryan Barr as managing director and corporate communications practice leader and promoted Michael Cimini to managing director and investor relations practice leader. Barr and Cimini will report directly to Leon Berman, President of The IGB Group.

Most recently, Barr was the co-head of Hill & Knowlton's New York corporate communications group and led the agency's financial relations practice. In his new role, he will establish a dedicated corporate communications group at IGB and will work with Cimini and Berman to chart the strategic direction of the agency as it continues to grow and meet the ever changing needs of its existing portfolio of clients as well as public and private companies seeking to more effectively communicate with a broad group of stakeholders.

Cimini will oversee the existing investor relations practice at The IGB Group with a focus on client relationship management and continued growth and expansion into new markets. He joined The IGB Group in 2006. Previously, he served as vice president at KCSA Worldwide.
