New Roles for Burton, Mardiks at Golin/Harris

Golin/Harris International has named Keith Burton, worldwide director of the corporate and employee communications practice and leader of the agency’s central U.S. region, as chief client officer.

CHICAGO—Golin/Harris International has named Keith Burton, worldwide director of the corporate and employee communications practice and leader of the agency’s central U.S. region, as chief client officer. He takes over the role from Fred Cook, president of Golin/Harris, who also had served as chief client officer since January 2002. 

Burton will focus on protecting and growing the agency’s key client relationships through a variety of service and relationship management initiatives. 

Meanwhile, Ellen Ryan Mardiks, worldwide director of Golin/Harris’s marketing and brand strategy practice and director of the agency’s global affiliate network, was named chief marketing officer, a new position. Mardiks will continue to lead the agency’s consumer sector business, and will add responsibility for the marketing and growth of Golin/Harris’s brand and business around the world.
