New Roles for Senior Executives at Text 100 Asia

Text 100 is moving regional client director Ava Lawler from Sydney to Shanghai, a regional headquarters for a growing number of multinational corporations, where she will continue to focus on key markets across Asia including India, China, and Australia and New Zealand.

SYDNEY—Text 100 is moving regional client director Ava Lawler from Sydney to Shanghai, a regional headquarters for a growing number of multinational corporations, where she will continue to focus on key markets across Asia including India, China, and Australia and New Zealand.

At the same time, Rowan Benecke and Anne Costello will take on focused responsibilities for geographical regions within the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to his roles of sales and marketing director and head of practices for the region, senior vice president Benecke will assume responsibility for North Asia and will continue to report directly to Lawler, focusing on growing Text 100’s Japanese business and nurturing Text 100’s North Asian licensed partners.  

Costello, client services director, has been promoted to senior vice president and will have responsibility for Text 100 South East Asia, continuing to report directly to Lawler and focusing on the growth of the agency’s businesses and relationships with relevant affiliate partners in the region.

The firm says it is on track to achieve a 20 per cent growth in revenue in Asia compared to last financial year.

CHANNA—Text 100 Public Relations has opened its fourth Indian Office in Chennai as part of its continued investment in the country. Headed up by a longtime Text 100 employee Joshy Mathews, the Chennai office will work with existing clients including Nokia and Nasscom.
