LONDON--Next Fifteen has made another significant effort to boost its digital offering, acquiring UK social media firm Content and Motion (C&M) for its existing digital unit Beyond.

Content and Motion will become Beyond’s social acquisition and engagement team, sitting alongside its existing analytics and creative teams. The firm will be integrated into the company’s global service offering to clients such as Apple, Facebook, Google and Youtube.

Next Fifteen CEO Tim Dyson said: “By integrating C&M with Beyond, we are creating a new type of digital agency that brings together insight, technology and engagement”.

C&M is headed by founder Roger Warner, and works with clients such as TomTom, Expedia, EMC and the RSPCA. Warner will join the board of Beyond and will report to CEO David Hargreaves.

Founded in 2009, C&M is based in Lewes, East Sussex, and also has a London office.

“We describe ourselves as ‘Moneyball For Social Brands’," said Hargreaves. "We use unstructured social data to help brands win big by predicting what people will love and share online. Our work with Google, YouTube, Apple and Facebook on their social platforms, combined with the social engagement capability of C&M, gives us a winning combination for global brands looking to exploit the huge potential of social marketing.”

Since its formation in August 2010, Beyond has grown to become a $10 million agency with 100 people in offices in San Francisco, New York, London and Mumbai.

Next Fifteen has made a string of digital acquisitions in recent years, including businesses in the US and Hong Kong.
