Next Fifteen Increases Stake in Lexis

Next Fifteen Communications Group, parent company of technology public relations specialists Text 100 and Bite Communications, has increased its stake in top U.K. consumer public relations consultancy Lexis.

LONDON—Next Fifteen Communications Group, parent company of technology public relations specialists Text 100 and Bite Communications, has increased its stake in top U.K. consumer public relations consultancy Lexis.

The company originally announced it had acquired a 25 percent stake in Lexis parent company Panther in August of 2005 and in April of this year it acquired a further 26 percent, taking its interest to 51 percent. The latest purchase will take Next Fifteen’s stake to 76 percent by acquiring a further 22,814 shares in Panther for £2,070,599, of which £1,552,949 was paid in cash and the balance satisfied by the issue of 756,468 ordinary shares.

Next Fifteen says it intends to acquire the entire issued share capital of Panther by 2010.
