Nissan Names Mari to Lead European PR

Jean-Paul Mari has been appointed by Nissan Europe as its new vice president of communications. He will oversee all areas of communications including corporate, product, design and technology and internal communications.

TRAPPES, France—Jean-Paul Mari has been appointed by Nissan Europe as its new vice president of communications. He will oversee all areas of communications including corporate, product, design and technology and internal across Nissan’s European operations in 31 countries and will report directly to Eric Nicolas, senior vice president, administration and finance.

Mari was most recently director of communications and motor sport with Renault Sport Technologies, where he was responsible for leading Renault’s non-Formula 1 motor sport policy for four years. Earlier, he held a number of other roles at Renault including director of product and brand information, spearheading Renault brand’s product communication and international press launches.

In Europe, Nissan employs approximately 12,000 people in its design, research and development, manufacturing, logistics, and sales and marketing operations.
