Ogilvy Adds Second Technology Firm in Australia

Paul Holmes

SYDNEY, July 19—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, which earlier this year made three major acquisitions in Australia, has launched Pulse Communications, its second technology public relations consultancy in Australia. Jennifer Arnold, formerly the director of Burson-Marsteller Australia’s marketing and technology practice, has been named managing director of the new firm.
In April of this year, technology PR specialist Howorth Communications and four other specialist PR and public affairs firms partnered to form Ogilvy PR in Australia, creating the country’s largest public relations organization.
Pulse offers a comprehensive range of services for IT&T clients, including enterprise and consumer technology PR, brand-related PR, issues management, event management and media training. Now, through its relationship with Ogilvy, it can also offer technology companies financial, government, multicultural and employee relations support.
