The Tech Museum of Innovation, one of the nation’s premier science and technology museums, has selected Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide as its public relations firm for the upcoming 2007 Tech Museum Awards: Technology Benefiting Humanity.

SAN FRANCISCO—The Tech Museum of Innovation, one of the nation’s premier science and technology museums, has selected Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide as its public relations firm for the upcoming 2007 Tech Museum Awards: Technology Benefiting Humanity, presented by Applied Materials. The awards honor people around the world who are using innovative applications of technology to help solve some of the world’s most challenging problems.

Ogilvy PR will support all communications efforts surrounding the awards program, specifically developing and executing the awards’ messaging, media relations and digital influence strategies.

Ogilvy PR will work to position the 2007 Tech Awards as the leading humanitarian awards program in the world, increase visibility of The Tech within the cultural and technology arenas, promote the projects that are recognized by the awards program and attract future applicants and partners. Target audiences for Ogilvy PR’s communications efforts include potential participants, government and educational groups and the general public.
