NEW YORK—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has been selected U.S. PR agency of record by LG Electronics USA, the North American operations of the global electronics firm, LG Electronics. Ogilvy had been supporting LG’s consumer electronics division since September, and will now add three additional U.S. divisions: digital appliances, mobile phones and information technology.
In addition, Ogilvy PR will be providing public relations counsel for overall corporate reputation and issues management.

Ogilvy PR will collaborate with LG to develop an integrated, strategic branding campaign to further develop the company’s position in the U.S. marketplace. Activities will include product-specific media relations, corporate communications, public affairs and entertainment marketing.
