WASHINGTON, D.C.— SAVVIS, a leader in IT infrastructure services for business applications, has selected Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide (Ogilvy PR) as its agency of record in the U.S. Ogilvy PR will develop communications strategies for SAVVIS to promote its leadership position and will provide the company with brand positioning and messaging, executive training, and traditional media and social media relations support.

“Throughout the evaluation process, Ogilvy PR demonstrated its deep expertise in the IT infrastructure space and their team is equipped to handle all facets of our public relations needs,” says James Whitemore, SAVVIS chief marketing officer. “The core team is highly focused on our technology, while at the same time they will tap into their deep network of public relations specialists as we need them. Furthermore, Ogilvy PR is geographically mapped to match our diverse locations across the U.S. and globally as needed.”

Led by Ogilvy PR’s technology practice, the client relationship will be serviced from the firm’s Washington, D.C. and Denver offices.  Ogilvy’s Singapore office will provide media services in support of SAVVIS’ expansion plans there.
