Ogilvy Names Scott Head of Research and Insights

Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has hired Jennifer Scott as managing director of insights and research. Scott will be a part of the firm’s strategy and planning division, a team of senior counselors.

NEW YORK—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has hired Jennifer Scott as managing director of insights and research. Scott will be a part of the firm’s strategy and planning division, a team of senior counselors, and will drive the growth and development of the agency’s primary research capabilities. In addition, she will work closely with practice leaders to inform business development and enhance programming for existing clients.

Scott has provided research-based communications counsel to a variety of corporate clients including GE, AstraZeneca and Swiss Re. She has also driven the branding and marketing strategies for consumer products and services clients such as Unilever and Charles Schwab and contributed to the development of entertainment products for clients including Disney and the Jim Henson Company.

Prior to joining Ogilvy PR, she was president of StrategyOne, Edelman’s specialist research company.
