Ogilvy Names Simpson Head of New York Consumer Group

Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has named Patrick Simpson executive vice president and director for the New York consumer marketing group, reporting to Barby Siegel, managing director of Ogilvy PR’s global consumer practice.

NEW YORK—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has named Patrick Simpson executive vice president and director for the New York consumer marketing group, reporting to Barby Siegel, managing director of Ogilvy PR’s global consumer practice. Current clients of the New York group include Unilever Foods, LensCrafters, Ford, Band Aid, LG Electronics and Select Comfort.

Prior to joining Ogilvy PR, Simpson served as senior vice president of consumer brands for Edelman, where he led campaigns for such clients as Apple, Nike, Samsung, Unilever (Home & Personal Care) and most recently, Microsoft’s Windows Vista, and launched the award winning AXE deodorant body-spray campaign.
