Ogilvy Names Two Leaders for U.S. Tech Practice

Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has appointed Louise Kehoe and Dan La Russo co-leaders of the agency’s U.S. technology practice in the western region.

SAN FRANCISCO—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has appointed Louise Kehoe and Dan La Russo co-leaders of the agency’s U.S. technology practice in the western region.

Kehoe joined Ogilvy PR five years ago following a distinguished career in journalism including more than 20 years at the Financial Times where she led the international newspaper’s U.S. technology coverage. Since joining Ogilvy, she has been instrumental in the acquisition of several new clients. Her specialties include executive media training, crisis communications, media relations and corporate positioning.

 

In her new role, Kehoe will focus on growing the technology practice on the West Coast drawing on her ability to meet the corporate, consumer, public affairs, social and vertical sector PR requirements of clients.

 

La Russo has over a decade of experience in public relations strategy across a variety of technology segments including consumer technology, telecommunications and data storage. He has led key client engagements through corporate and product launches, acquisitions and mergers and has developed award winning digital and consumer campaigns.

 

In his new role, La Russo will be responsible for overseeing staffing levels and assignments, and identifying the skill-sets and expertise that should be added to the practice in order to deliver optimal client service and keep the agency well positioned for future growth.
