Ogilvy Promotes Friedman to Lead Chicago Office

Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has promoted Nathan Friedman to managing director of its Chicago office, responsible for managing client service, financial oversight and personnel development. Mike Hatcliffe, will return to his original role as head of the agency’s U.S. corporate practice

CHICAGO—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has promoted Nathan Friedman to managing director of its Chicago office, responsible for managing client service, financial oversight and personnel development. The current office director, Mike Hatcliffe, will return to his original role as head of the agency’s U.S. corporate practice, directing strategies for corporate clients across the Ogilvy PR network.

 

Friedman joined Ogilvy PR in 1999 and has held several positions in multiple practice areas, most recently serving as senior VP and group director of the Chicago office’s corporate practice.  Friedman has worked with a variety of clients including, Hudson, Deloitte, CDW and LG Electronics.

 

A search for a new Chicago group director is now underway.

 

Hatcliffe has more than 20 years experience in public relations, working for major corporations in the U.S. and Europe.  His expertise lies particularly in promoting and protecting corporate reputation and issues and crisis management.  He has counseled several of Ogilvy PR’s clients on thought leadership and issues management.
