Ogilvy Wins NexCen Brands Account

NexCen Brands, a vertically integrated brand acquisition and management company and parent of brands brands including The Athlete’s Foot, Bill Blass, and MaggieMoo’s, has seleected Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide as its new public relations agency of record.

ATLANTA—NexCen Brands, a vertically integrated brand acquisition and management company and parent of brands brands including The Athlete’s Foot, Bill Blass, and MaggieMoo’s, has seleected Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide as its new public relations agency of record. The firm will work on increasing awareness and driving sales of its growing portfolio of QSR and franchise retail brands and will also handle the NexCen corporate brand, focusing on managing high level business media, executive positioning and specialized communications with the stakeholder communities.

The NexCen account will be lead by Ogilvy PR’s Atlanta and New York offices. Work will focus on national and local media relations, sponsorships, events and corporate positioning.

NexCen Brands began its brand-focused strategy in June 2006, and today has more than 1,500 franchised stores globally.
