Omnicom Acquires Non-Profit Specialist

Omnicom has acquired Changing Our World, a three-year-old firm that works primarily with nonprofit organizations on fundraising and philanthropic consulting.

NEW YORK, June 10—Omnicom has acquired Changing Our World, a three-year-old firm that works primarily with nonprofit organizations on fundraising and philanthropic consulting. The firm will become part of the nonprofit fundraising and communications group of Omnicom’s Diversified Agency Services division—a division that also includes the holding company’s public relations operations.
 
The partnership combines Changing Our World’s expertise in fundraising and philanthropic consulting with the nonprofit fundraising and communications group’s capabilities in direct marketing, government fundraising, and multimedia production to provide a suite of services to the nonprofit sector in both the U.S. and Canada.
 
“We built Changing Our World because we believe very strongly in changing the world through philanthropy,” said Michael Hoffman, chairman of Changing Our World. “By joining DAS we are closer to that goal, and we are in a better position to give our clients the highest level of service in the world.”
