Omnicom Creates Committee to Promote Diversity

Omnicom Group, parent of Fleishman-Hillard, Ketchum, Porter Novelli and Brodeur Pleon, has formed the Omnicom Diversity Development Advisory Committee, which will focus on development of initiatives that will enhance diversity at Omnicom and its subsidiaries.

NEW YORK—Omnicom Group, parent of Fleishman-Hillard, Ketchum, Porter Novelli and Brodeur Pleon, has formed the Omnicom Diversity Development Advisory Committee, which will focus on development of initiatives that will enhance diversity at Omnicom and its subsidiaries. The group has committed $1.25 million over five years to the initiative.

The Omnicom DDAC is comprised of eight eight notable business and community leaders and will be led by chair, Carl McCall, director of several public corporations, including Tyco International and Ariel Mutual Fund, former New York State comptroller and state Senator, and trustee of the State University of New York.

Other members include Darwin Davis, president and CEO of the New York Urban League; Vann Graves, associate creative director at BBDO; radio personality James Mtume-Radio; and Tom Watson, former Omnicom vice chairman and dean of Omnicom University.
