LONDON—Australian PR firm One Green Bean has taken over sister firm Havas PR London, less than a year after launching operations in the UK.

The move marks the end of Havas PR London as a separate brand — the firm's staff and clients, including Arla Foods, Chivas, Rimmel, Peperami and Reckitt Benckiser,
are absorbed by One Green Bean. Previously known as Euro RSCG Biss Lancaster, Havas PR London was initially formed via a merger with its ad agency sibling in 2010.

The combined operation will be led by One Green Bean London MD Matt Buchanan and global ECD Kat Thomas (pictured), overseeing a team of 20 staff. Louise Stone, who previously led Havas PR London, remains with the firm, wh

"We’ve been overwhelmed with the positive reaction from prospective clients since our launch in January, our offering built around a modern insight-led approach to PR and content has definitely resonated," said Buchanan in a statement. "We are excited about this chance to add scale and expertise to the business. The newly combined agency gives us even greater fire-power, and the opportunity to work with not only the existing Havas PR clients, but also up-weight the PR and social integration within Havas Worldwide London."

Since launching in London at the start of this year, One Green Bean has won the Costa Coffee consumer campaigns and press office accounts, plus project work for Pernod Ricard Winemakers, The Body Shop and B&Q, in addition to securing a place on the Samsung PR roster.

"Given the changing demands of clients and their increased focus on owned and earned media, it’s the right time to up-weight our capability in the PR and social space by bringing together these two businesses under one strong brand," said Havas Worldwide London managing partner Daniel Floyed.
