NEW YORK—There is one month to go until the early deadline for the EMEA region 2011 SABRE Awards competition on December 20, 2010.

The SABRE (Superior Achievement in Branding and Reputation) Awards recognize excellence in public relations programming, and have a 20-year heritage in the United States, and seven years in EMEA, where last year’s competition attracted more than 1,800 entries and attracted more than 700 industry leaders to the annual SABRE dinner in London’s Round House.

Entries will be judged by representatives of major American corporations including Colin Hensley (Toyota), Andre Manning (Philips), Christina Schneider (Hewlett Packard), Nick Sharples (Sony), Simon Sproule (Renault-Nissan), and Philip Townsend (Manchester United); international agency leaders such as Kevin Bell (Fleishman-Hillard), Paul Charles (Lewis PR), Sally Costerton (Hill & Knowlton), David Gallagher (Ketchum Pleon); and PR agency principals such as Mohamed Al Ayad (TRACCS), Roland Klein (CNC), Christian Konig (Farner), Nick Mulholland (Freud), and Kevin Murray (Bell Pottinger PR).

Entry forms can be downloaded from the Holmes Report website, and the company has launched a SABRE Awards blog, which includes information on categories, deadlines and judges, as well as advice on compiling a winning award entry
