Oracle Hires Paul De Lara From Infosys To Lead EMEA Communications

LONDON — Oracle has hired Paul de Lara from Infosys to lead EMEA communications, reporting to Chris Talago who joined the technology giant last year.

De Lara is named corporate communications director for EMEA. Gaye Hudson previously oversaw communications in the region, but departed the company last June, after the arrival of global communications lead Mike Moeller.

Moeller has since left Oracle, after less than a year with the company. Former WE Communications EMEA chief Talago has overseen Oracle's communications across EMEA, Asia-Pacific and Japan since last July.

De Lara spent almost five years with Infosys, ultimately overseeing all of the IT company's public relations outside of India. Prior to Infosys, he held senior communications roles at HP and Skype, following almost a decade at Text 100.

"The rapid progress Oracle is making on its transition to being the leading cloud provider makes this an incredibly exciting time to join Oracle," said de Lara. "The transformation includes modernising the communications function, so it is a great privilege to have the opportunity to be part of this journey."
