NEW YORK—P.J. Clarke’s, a venerable New York restaurant with three locations across Manhattan, has hired DKC as its agency of record to solidify its status in-market while broadening its reach to new audiences in different cities. DKC will provide a full range of public relations services, including media relations, digital services and integrated marketing.
DKC will work with P.J. Clarke’s to highlight different elements of the dining experience, including the knowledgeable bartenders and classic menu to the conversational ambience and 125-year heritage, to a variety of media, including local New York outlets, national lifestyle and travel publications and food and beverage writers. Traditional media outreach will be supplemented by a social media campaign designed to increase word-of-mouth about the restaurant.
In addition to delivering a unified brand message about the P.J. Clarke’s experience, DKC will lead the effort to educate audiences in key markets nationally: particularly those in the Northeast region. DKC will work to establish the restaurant’s credibility nationally by creatively promoting its key assets, emphasizing the dining and bar experience and its ongoing cultural relevance.
