NEW YORK—Hill & Knowlton has named Joe Paluska director of its worldwide technology practice. He will report to Paul Taaffe, chairman and CEO, and joins the firm’s worldwide executive committee. He will remain head of the U.S. technology practice—which serves clients including HP, Motorola, VeriSign and Yahoo!—and a member of the U.S. executive committee. He remains headquartered in San Francisco.
According to Taaffe: “With convergence and consolidation common in today’s technology industry, tech companies need to be able to effectively and uniquely reach a myriad of audiences in an increasingly complex landscape.”
Paluska joined Hill & Knowlton in 2002, as deputy director of the U.S. technology practice. Prior to H&K, he worked with HP, Genuity and PayPal while at Applied Communications, now part of Bite Communications. Before moving to San Francisco, Paluska worked in-house with MCI in Washington, D.C.
