A promotion at Hill & Knowton in Chicago, and new additions to Beckerman Public Relations in New Jersey and Ogilvy's Atlanta office.

CHICAGO—Christine Woolsey, a veteran Chicago journalist, has been promoted to senior vice president at Hill & Knowlton’s Chicago office. Woolsey is a member of the corporate communications practice where she specializes in financial transactions, crisis management and media relations. She also directs H&K’s Midwest healthcare practice. She joined H&K’s Chicago office in 2005 after an 18-year career as a business journalist covering finance, healthcare and technology for print, online and broadcast news outlets, including Crain’s Chicago Business.

BEDMINSTER, NJ—Beckerman Public Relations has named Don McIver as chief operating officer. He joins Beckerman from MWW Group, where he also served as chief operating officer. Previously, he served as the human resources group manager at ISO, Inc., a firm that provides actuarial and information services to insurance industries.

ATLANTA, GA—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has added Steven Rice to its Atlanta office as an account director. Prior to joining Ogilvy PR, Rice was a PR consultant for several food and hospitality clients, including the Atlantic Hotel & Restaurant and The Seminole Hard Rock Casino & Hotel. He also worked at Cartoon Network as the senior director of public relations where he played a pivotal role in launching the “Adult Swim” block for the network.
