NEW YORK—GolinHarris has promoted Matthew Henson to senior vice president in the agency’s corporate practice. Based in New York, Henson will deepen his role with several of the firm’s clients and the organization’s GeoImpact practice. Before joining GolinHarris, Henson was the communications director at the National Security and Natural Resources News Service in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, he worked for Senator Carol Moseley-Braun (D-Ill.) for over two years in various legislative and communications capacities.

LOS ANGELES—Englander & Associates has bolstered its crisis communications and litigation practice with the addition of Lawrence Ash. Ash served in the U.S. Department of Labor as senior research administrator, as a senior legislative assistant to U.S. Senator John Tunney and as assistant to the chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. His business experience includes 15 years as a senior public affairs executive for Southern California Gas Company and Sempra Energy, where he ran the Sacramento governmental relations office.

CHICAGO—Current Lifestyle Marketing, an Interpublic agency, has promoted Michelle Magat Williams to senior vice president. Williams, who has 10 years of consumer marketing experience, joined the agency as a founding team member in 2006 and heads the San Francisco office.

PHILADELPHIA—Radian Group, a global credit risk management company, has appointed Richard Gillespie as senior vice president of corporate communications and marketing, reporting to Paul Bognanno, vice chairman of Radian Guaranty. Most recently, Gillespie served as executive vice president, chief marketing officer, and executive committee member of GMAC Residential. Mona Zeehandelaar, formerly Radian’s senior vice president of investor relations and corporate communications, has left Radian to take a senior position at Towers Perrin in its finance organization.
