The South Florida office of Lou Hammond & Associates has added two vice presidents, plus new people in new positions with Peppercom, Shift Communications, WealthBridge Connect, and Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants.

WEST PALM BEACH, FL—The South Florida office of Lou Hammond & Associates has added two vice presidents and relocated from Miami-Dade to Palm Beach County. Gary Gerbino and Crissy Poorman will report to Gina Stouffer, the firm’s senior vice president and director of the South Florida office. Gerbino has worked with high-profile clients, having launched Cunard Line’s Queen Mary 2 and The Royalton in New York. Poorman served for the last six years as director of public relations for The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach.


SAN FRANCISCO—Peppercom has appointed Sandy Pfaff as director in its San Francisco office. Pfaff was previously with Ketchum West for more than 10 years, most recently as senior vice president for business development on the West Coast. In her new role at Peppercom, Pfaff will be responsible for overall strategy and management of several existing accounts as well as business development and operational support. She will report to Ann Barlow, president of Peppercom West Coast.  


SAN FRANCISCO—Shift Communications has named Julie Crabill vice president of the consumer lifestyle practice in its San Francisco office. Crabill will continue to lead the Agency's San Francisco-based consumer clients and to help grow the agency-wide consumer lifestyle practice, which she started just three years ago and which includes clients such as RealNetworks, Oakley, UGOBE, Powerset and Wordlock. Prior to SHIFT, Crabill worked at Edelman, managing both consumer technology and semiconductor accounts.


RICHMOND, KY—WealthBridge Connect, which provides strategic and operational planning, executive coaching and training for entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized corporations, has hired Jennifer Wiggins as vice president of media and public relations. Wiggins will develop and manage all PR 2.0 applications, social media platforms, television and film partnerships, and coordinate the WealthBridge Web 2.0 video production unit. Wiggins has more than 10 years of business experience in the areas of management, sales, public relations, marketing, project coordination and meeting planning.


WASHINGTON, D.C.Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has named Charissa Benjamin as director, restaurant public relations, for the Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia area. She will manage the public relations efforts for six restaurants and one wine retail establishment. Benjamin joins Kimpton from Washington, D.C.-based public relations firm Qorvis Communications.
