CHICAGO—Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide has promoted Nathan Friedman to senior vice president and group director of its Chicago corporate practice. The firm also elevated Ojas Naik to vice president in the practice. In addition to his role as a client counselor, Friedman is responsible for the operation of the Chicago practice, including all aspects of finance, business development and human resources.  Since joining the agency in 1999, Friedman led assignments for a variety of large corporate brands.

RALEIGH, NC—Global Software, a leading provider of Microsoft Excel-based automation and analysis tools for enterprise resource planning platforms, has hired Jennifer Koch as corporate communications coordinator. Koch joins after four years with Anacomp, a leader in outsourced document, business process management and litigation support services.

LOS ANGELES—PondelWilkinson, an investor relations and corporate communications advisory firm, has hired Eileen Rauchberg as senior vice president. Prior to joining the firm, Rauchberg managed corporate programs for Medialink Worldwide. Previously, she was a vice president and practice director of Hill & Knowlton’s financial communications group, based in Los Angeles. Her prior experience includes executive positions with the Financial Relations Board and eight years with Reuters America.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Washington Gas has hired Eric Grant as corporate communications director, responsible for the company’s internal and external communications, including media affairs and consumer education. Formerly the director of public relations and contributions at The Washington Post, Grant was responsible for the newspaper’s media and public relations, community affairs and philanthropy programs. He also spent more than a decade as a government and public affairs representative and manager for the American Petroleum Institute.

CLEVELAND—Dix & Eaton has promoted Lisa Hagerty to senior managing director. Hagerty advises clients on a full range of strategic organizational communications, change communications and employee engagement and serves as practice leader for Dix & Eaton’s employee communications group. Before joining Dix & Eaton in 1996, Hagerty was with Associated Estates Realty Corporation, where she served as manager of investor relations.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Harman International Industries, a leader in audio products and automotive electronics systems, has named Brad Hoffman vice president of corporate communications. Hoffman serves currently as head of automation business communications for ABB Group, a global technology and engineering company.

BATON ROUGE—Anne Lechevranton will be appointed vice president of corporate communications for the Air Liquide Group. Lechevranton was most recently with the Thales Group, first as communications director for the communications and information systems group and then for the land and joint systems division. Previously, she was director of internal communication for the automotive supplier Valeo.
