Peppercom to Represent Henkel in North America

Peppercom has been named agency of record for Henkel in North America. The Henkel U.S. and Canadian business consists of leading brands and technologies in industrial and consumer markets.

NEW YORK—Peppercom has been named agency of record for Henkel in North America. The Henkel U.S. and Canadian business consists of leading brands and technologies in industrial and consumer markets, including Loctite engineering adhesives, Henkel industrial adhesives and surface treatments, consumer adhesives and tapes including Duck Brand tape, and personal care products under DEP, L.A. LOOKS and Schwarzkopf brands.

Globally, theGerman-based Henkel Group operates in laundry and home care, cosmetics and toiletries, consumer and craftsmen adhesives, and industrial technologies.

Peppercom’s responsibilities will include a wide range of strategic public relations initiatives designed to garner visibility for Henkel in North America. Peppercom will be responsible for developing corporate positioning, launching a targeted outreach to national business media, and implementing a crisis communications program for Henkel’s North American business units.

“We selected Peppercom based on its knowledge of the U.S. media markets and their experience in helping re-position blue-chip corporations,” said Pattie Jacobus, vice president of corporate communications for Henkel in North America. “We are looking for the firm to heighten awareness of Henkel in North America and educate constituent audiences on Henkel’s technologies and services in the aerospace, automotive, industrial maintenance, electronics, and consumer adhesives and personal care markets.”
