NEW YORK—Peppercomm has acquired Janine Gordon Associates, a boutique agency headquartered in New York with experience in the consumer lifestyle, luxury and non-profit categories.

The renamed JGAPeppercomm will provide clients with consumer lifestyle expertise and a suite of services that includes traditional PR and social media, branding, experiential and events, crisis communications, celebrity endorsements, strategic alliances, licensing, and digital and creative services.

"Consumer brands are facing increasing pressure to gain a deeper understanding of the audiences they are trying to reach,” says Edward Moed, co-founder and managing partner of Peppercomm, explaining the rationale for the deal. “At the same time, they must continually develop and distribute content that will drive engagement and affinity among their target customers."

JGA's current clients include Kiehl's Since 1851, Texas de Brazil, Sunrise-Soya Foods, Holland & Holland (a division of Chanel) and Del Mar Development. Janine Gordon previously spent 17 years running corporate communications for Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising and serving as president of the company's public relations division.
