Perry Named to Lead Weber Shandwick's Detroit Office

Weber Shandwick has promoted Chris Perry to executive vice president and general manager of the firm’s Detroit office. Perry also will have a key senior management role in the firm’s global Web Relations practice.

DETROIT—Weber Shandwick has promoted Chris Perry to executive vice president and general manager of the firm’s Detroit office. Perry also will have a key senior management role in the firm’s global Web Relations practice.

Perry has developed technology and emerging media programs for General Motors since he joined Weber Shandwick in 2000. In leading day-to-day operations in the Detroit office, he will partner with Stan Stein, executive vice president, who has global responsibility for the firm’s General Motors business.  

Perry joined Weber Shandwick from Edelman where he worked for three years as a vice president with new technology and start-up companies.
