NEW YORK—Ketchum has appointed Marcus Peterzell as executive vice president of entertainment for its Ketchum Sports & Entertainment division. He brings 20 years of strategic entertainment marketing experience and deep relationships in the industry to KSE's clients, including the World Triathlon Corporation, Frito-Lay and IBM.

Peterzell joined leading entertainment marketing agency AWE in 2004 as co-president. While there, he helped expand the firm's presence by opening offices in Paris and London. He moved to Fathom Communications—like AWE and Ketchum, an Omnicom agency—in 2009 as managing director of entertainment. At AWE and Fathom, Peterzell executed marketing programs for brands and companies including AXE, Nokia, Jeep, Time-Warner Cable, Hyundai, Candies and Philips.

In his new role, Peterzell will be based in New York and will report to Ann Wool, partner and managing director of KSE.
