Pettit Joins to Head Financial Group at H&K

Hill & Knowlton has named N. Gregory Pettit as director of financial relations in its New York office. He joins the New York office management committee and reports into the New York corporate practice.

NEW YORK, June 14—Hill & Knowlton has named N. Gregory Pettit as director of financial relations in its New York office. He joins the New York office management committee and reports into the New York corporate practice, led by Diane Perry.
 
Pettit will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with financial services and investor relations clients, as well as coordinating on financial relations accounts and opportunities across the US network as needed. An 18-year industry veteran, Pettit has advised companies in mergers and acquisitions communications and has managed both IPO and Level II listings.
 
He joins H&K from Gavin Anderson & Company, where he was director of investor relations and worked alongside Perry. Previously, he held senior positions at Weber Shandwick, Edelman and the Financial Relations Board.
 
NEW YORK—Hill & Knowlton has named Michael Gordon as director of its New York technology practice. He will report directly to New York general manager Philip Sheldon, and becomes a member of the New York office management committee and the global technology leadership team.
 
Gordon joined Hill and Knowlton in April 2001 as a senior managing director.  He has led accounts including Motorola, Bowne Global Solutions, c2it by Citibank. Prior to joining Hill and Knowlton, Gordon served as vice president for corporate communications for Kozmo.com and was senior vice president at Robinson, Lerer & Montgomery, where he worked on site in America Online corporate communications.
 
LONDON—Hill & Knowlton has named Diane Donlon health and pharmaceutical director for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Based in H&K’s European headquarters in London, Donlon will report to Paul McDade, worldwide director of health and pharma and Andrew Laurence, director of the corporate communications practice in Europe.
 
Prior to joining H&K, Donlon was executive vice president at Ruder Finn. Previously, she spent 10 years as director of public affairs at Hoffmann-La Roche.
