WASHINGTON, D.C.— CRT/tanaka has been retained by the American Physical Therapy Association to create and implement a comprehensive branding initiative. The account will be serviced by the agency’s health practice. Established in 1921, the APTA represents and promotes the physical therapy profession.

“Our partnership with CRT/tanaka will allow us to further our mission of promoting the benefits of physical therapist services to the public, both in terms of prevention and rehabilitation,” said Alexis B.Waters, APTA director of public relations and marketing services. “We are impressed by CRT/tanaka’s ability to deliver brand strategies to its clients in creative and effective ways.”

CRT/tanaka’s health practice has won several new health and wellness accounts in 2007, including the Council for Responsible Nutrition; Novation, an authority on healthcare contracting services; and Pri-Med, a provider of multi-channel medical education for physicians.
