PITTSBURGH—Patrick Mangus, a veteran of Mangus Catanzano and Ketchum, has established a new consultancy, Forge Communications. The agency will focus on reputation management, litigation support and crisis and issues management for corporations, healthcare institutions, educational facilities and professional service firms. Forge will also offer media relations, event planning, web design and collateral development.

Mangus will draw from a stable of senior consultants, art directors, internet experts and media relations professionals to assemble the best team for each client.

“Companies and organizations today are very savvy when it comes to communicating with their constituents,” says Mangus. “More and more, they are seeking senior consultants who have the experience and knowledge to effectively counsel c-suite executives and provide them the value-added direction they seek.”

In addition to directing his own award-winning agency, MangusCatanzano, for 15 years, he has served as a senior vice president with Ketchum and Blattner Brunner.
