RALEIGH—French/West/Vaughan has been selected as agency of record by the United States Playing Card Company. FWV will provide a range of PR services including media relations, consumer events, strategic partnership development and promotions for USPC businesses, primarily the Bicycle brand, one of America’s favorite playing cards since 1885.
Specifically, the agency will seek to heighten awareness about the timeless and broad appeal playing cards have to family members of all ages.
USPC is the largest manufacturer and distributor of branded playing cards. Its portfolio of brands includes Bicycle, Hoyle, Bee, KEM, Aviator, and Maverick. In December 2006, USPC announced an agreement with Harrah’s and the World Series of Poker to be a sponsor and official supplier to the 2007 competition beginning June 1 in Las Vegas.
