Porter Novelli Adds Brum to Life Sciences Group

Porter Novelli Life Sciences has hired Lynne Brum as executive vice president in the agency’s Boston office. Brum will lead the expansion of the agency’s life science practice in Boston, reporting to Carin Canale, president of Porter Novelli Life Sciences.

BOSTON—Porter Novelli Life Sciences has hired Lynne Brum as executive vice president in the agency’s Boston office. Brum will lead the expansion of the agency’s life science practice in Boston, reporting to Carin Canale, president of Porter Novelli Life Sciences.

Brum joined the agency from Vertex Pharmaceuticals where she served most recently as vice president of strategic communications. During her 13 year tenure with the company, Brum built and led the internal corporate communications and investor relations team helped the company raise more than $1 billion in capital and handled communications for the launch of Agenerase and Lexiva for human immunodeficiency virus.

Prior to joining Vertex, Brum served as vice president at Feinstein Kean Healthcare.
