NEW YORK—Porter Novelli has formed a partnership with Prague-based public relations firm Neopublic to further extend its presence in Central Europe. Now branded Neopublic Porter Novelli, the Czech firm is a sister agency to a firm of the same name in Slovakia, which became a Porter Novelli network member in 2004.

“We have been working with Neopublic in the Czech Republic on a project-basis since the beginning of 2005, and our teams and clients have been impressed with the results delivered, “ said Helen Ostrowski, CEO of Porter Novelli.  “Its reputation for creativity, quality and for developing strong partnerships with clients makes Neopublic a valuable asset in our global network.”

Best known for its IT expertise, Neopublic recently won new business with HP, also a global client of Porter Novelli’s. Its client roster also includes 3Com, ETarget, Schwan-Stabilo, and NetTravel.

As a result of the growing significance of the Central and Eastern European region to the agency’s oprerations, Stefan Vadocz, managing partner of Neopublic Porter Novelli in Slovakia and co-founding partner of the Prague agency, has been named to Porter Novelli’s recently established regional advisory group for Europe, Middle East & Africa.

Porter Novelli’s C&EE network now includes partners in Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Russia, Slovakia and Switzerland.
