Porter Novelli Names Two New Senior VPs in New York

Porter Novelli has added five communications professionals to brand marketing, strategic planning and digital teams in New York, including Alan Marcus as senior vice president on the Monster Worldwide business and Loretta Markevics as senior vice president, planning.

NEW YORK—Porter Novelli has added five communications professionals to the agency’s brand marketing, strategic planning and digital strategy teams in New York, including Alan Marcus as senior vice president on the Monster Worldwide business and Loretta Markevics as senior vice president, planning.

 

Marcus brings more than 15 years of public relations experience to the agency. Prior to joining Porter Novelli, he served as vice president at MWW Group, where he managed PR and media strategies for Volkswagen Group of America. Before that he was a vice president at Ketchum in New York, where he developed strategic marketing communications campaigns for Cadbury North America and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group.

 

Before Porter Novelli, Markevics served as senior vice president, senior strategic planner at McCann Erickson working on clients including Black & Decker, Dentyne and Pfizer. She was also a partner at G2 Branding & Design, a division of Grey Global Group, where she headed up integrated strategic planning, including shopper marketing, for clients including Procter & Gamble and the Absolut Spirits Company. 

 

Other new additions include Julie Ann Matic, vice president on Procter & Gamble, formerly assistant vice president at Coyne PR; John Normoyle, digital strategist, previously digital new media manager for the Clinton Foundation in New York; and Izzy Forman, director, national blogger relations, who joins Porter Novelli from 360i.
