LONDON—Porter Novelli has formed a brand partnership with public relations firm ikp, further extending its presence in Central and Eastern Europe. ikp now becomes ikp Porter Novelli.

ikp, one of the top five public relations agencies in Austria, operates offices in Vienna, Salzburg and Dornbirn and serves clients in the consumer, industry and technology, financial services, health care and public sectors, including Booz Allen Hamilton, M-real, Scholl, Skoda and Durex.

“The inclusion of ikp in Porter Novelli’s global network strengthens our presence across the German-speaking markets in Europe, and we are already seeing close collaboration between ikp and Porter Novelli’s offices in Germany and Switzerland,” says Helen Ostrowski, Porter Novelli’s global CEO. “With Vienna continuing to be a strategic entry point to Eastern European markets, Austria is an important market for Porter Novelli’s international client base, many of whom will be dealing with the European Union for the first time.”

Earlier this year, Porter Novelli established a similar brand partnership with Swiss PR firm Farner Public Relations, one of the largest consultancies in that market.
