Porter Novelli to Handle Digital PR for Bel Brands

Porter Novelli has been named agency of record for digital activities for Chicago-based Bel Brands USA’s portfolio of snack cheese products, which includes The Laughing Cow Wedges and Mini Babybel.

NEW YORK—Porter Novelli has been named agency of record for digital activities for Chicago-based Bel Brands USA’s portfolio of snack cheese products, which includes The Laughing Cow Wedges and Mini Babybel. The assignment is effective immediately, and augments Porter Novelli’s ongoing public relations work for both brands.

 

“Porter Novelli demonstrated a keen understanding of our online consumer, the ability of influencers to shape her behavior and a seamless integration of our social media and public relations activities,” says Ann Legan, category marketing director for Bel Brands USA.

 

The Porter Novelli digital team servicing the account consists of experts from the agency’s New York, Washington D.C., and Chicago offices. They will be working with Bel Brands’ advertising agency of record, DDB, promotions agency Ryan Partnership and media buying agency OMD on the account. DDB, OMD and Porter Novelli all are part of Omnicom Group.
