LONDON—Young & Rubicam Group has expanded its Australian PPR Worldwide public relations agency to EMEA by hiring corporate communications veteran Pamela Fieldhouse as CEO.

Fieldhouse joins after spending the past three years as MD of international corporate communications at FTI Consulting in London. Prior to that, she was an MD at Edelman.

PPR's EMEA presence joins existing operations in Asia-Pacific and the US. The agency will lead EMEA operations from a new office in London and will open offices in France, Germany and the Middle East in early 2014.

“The launch of PPR in EMEA, following the US, is another significant milestone in our international expansion and a true testament to the strength of our brand and proven market offering.” said Richard Lazar, MD and CEO of PPR Asia-Pacific.

The Sydney-based PPR is one of Australia's largest PR firms. After expanding into Asia over the past decade, the firm launched its US presence earler this year.

“These are both exciting and challenging times for our industry and as someone who has always believed in the power of integrated communications I am excited to be building a business which can harness the right people, skills, expertise, services and tools to really deliver on this promise, “ said Fieldhouse.  “We are a team of people who love being part of a global network, but with the vision and entrepreneurial spirit to take a different approach in building our agency of the future.”
